By engaging PrimeSecurityTech for security installation, monitoring, or maintenance services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
PrimeSecurityTech provides security system installation, monitoring, maintenance, and related services including but not limited to:
Customer must provide safe and reasonable access to the property for installation, maintenance, and service calls. This includes ensuring clear pathways and removing any obstacles that may impede our technicians' work.
Customer is responsible for providing adequate electrical power, internet connectivity, and any required permits or approvals from homeowners' associations or local authorities.
Customer agrees to perform basic system maintenance as instructed, including regular testing of backup batteries and keeping sensors clean and unobstructed.
Installation appointments are scheduled during normal business hours. Emergency service calls may be available for additional fees. We will provide reasonable notice for any schedule changes.
Our quotations are based on standard installation conditions. Additional charges may apply for non-standard installations, including but not limited to challenging cable runs, unusual mounting requirements, or unexpected structural modifications.
Upon full payment, customer owns all installed equipment unless otherwise specified in a separate monitoring or lease agreement.
Payment for installation services is due upon completion unless other arrangements have been made in writing. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards.
Monthly monitoring fees (if applicable) are due in advance and are non-refundable. Service may be suspended for non-payment after 30 days.
Late payment charges of 1.5% per month may be applied to overdue accounts. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts more than 60 days past due.
We provide a 2-year warranty on all installation workmanship. This warranty covers defects in installation but does not cover equipment failures or damage due to external factors.
Equipment is covered by manufacturer warranties, typically 1-3 years depending on the product. We will facilitate warranty claims and provide replacement services during the warranty period.
Warranties do not cover damage due to lightning, power surges, vandalism, accidents, misuse, or acts of nature. Customer modifications to the system void all warranties.
No security system can guarantee complete protection against burglary, fire, or other emergencies. We provide equipment and services designed to reduce risk but cannot eliminate all possibilities of loss.
Monitoring services depend on telephone lines, internet connections, and cellular networks that may be interrupted. We are not liable for failures of these communication methods.
Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for our services in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for consequential, indirect, or punitive damages.
Customer is responsible for ensuring that video surveillance systems comply with applicable privacy laws and regulations. Customer must post appropriate notices regarding video recording.
We may access system data for troubleshooting, maintenance, and monitoring purposes. Customer retains ownership of all recorded data from their systems.
Installation contracts may be cancelled within 3 business days of signing for a full refund. Monitoring services require 30 days written notice for cancellation.
We reserve the right to terminate services for non-payment, violation of terms, or if continuing service becomes impractical or unsafe.
We are not liable for delays or failures in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, labor disputes, or equipment shortages.
All system designs, software, and proprietary information remain our intellectual property. Customer receives a license to use installed systems but may not reverse engineer or redistribute our proprietary technology.
We encourage customers to contact us directly to resolve any disputes or concerns before pursuing formal legal action.
Any disputes not resolved informally may be subject to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which services are provided, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Customers will be notified of significant changes, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
